Formerly the Best Western Moat House. 3 star family-friendly hotel, 4 minutes from the North Terminal. On-site parking available and a 24 hour shuttle bus service runs between the hotel and both terminals.
Booked for one night as we were flying early morning and it was advertised as only 4mins from the airport. The room was ok but the bus service to the airport was very late and as from the time it was supposed to collect from the Hotel until drop off at the airport was almost 1hour Consequently we missed our flight by minutes costing us another £160 for flights the next day also the cost of another night in the hotel. We took a taxi next and the cost was exactly the same but it did only take 4 or 5 minutes and dropped us off much closer the the departure lounge than the bus.
