The privately owned and family run Skylane hotel offers very reasonable accommodation with parking and is situated on the A23 just 3 miles north of Gatwick Airport and 7 minutes away by the Hotel's free shuttle bus. London and Brighton are only 30 and 45 minutes away respectively and local attractions include Hever Castle, Lingfield Golf Course, Hickstead and the Blue Bell Railway.

The 73 recently refurbished, very attractive bedrooms all offer en suite bathrooms, flat screen TVs and radio, tea/coffee, phone, air-conditioning, hairdryer on request and a welcome tray on your arrival.

The attractive 17th century Wheel Bar, a long, low brick building with inglenook fireplace and oak beams, includes real ales in its selection and serves bar meals and snacks, or for a full meal there is the wood beamed Wheel Restaurant with a la carte European and vegetarian evening meals and Continental and English breakfast. The bar can also be used for live music and discos.

Conference and meeting rooms can hold a maximum of 100 people and are tailored to suit varying sizes and types of function, with stage, bar and separate entrance a feature of the Entertainer room. Weddings – whether intimate or large - are also a speciality (the Hotel holds a licence) and the Bonehurst Suite is ideal for wedding breakfasts with a patio and secluded garden on hand.

Parking at the Skylane is located on-site at the hotel when you book a room and parking package through Gatwick Reservations. Simply arrive at the hotel, park your car and then take one of the regular shuttle buses to the terminal buildings. On your return just take a shuttle bus back to the hotel, from the terminal at which you arrive, to collect your car.

From the M23 exit at Junction 9, and follow signs for Gatwick Airport. At the 1st roundabout continue straight on. At the next roundabout take the last exit towards the A23. At next roundabout turn right, signposted Redhill A23. At the large interchange with a Shell Garage, follow signs for Redhill A23. The Skylane Hotel Gatwick is on the right after about 250 yards.
