Accor’s Mercure Hotel at London Gatwick Airport is the former Renaissance Hotel, located very close to the terminal buildings with a 24 hour shuttle bus that runs every 15 minutes so that you will never encounter any problems getting to the terminals from the hotel or to the hotel from the terminals. The journey time from the hotel to the airport is approximately 5 minutes depending on traffic and time of day so guests should allow more time during busy periods. The hotel is located approximately 7 – 8 minutes from junction 9 of the M23 motorway.
The Mercure Gatwick is one of the more popular “Stay and Park” hotels with excellent hotel and parking deals for all leisure travellers, including families. You will be hard pushed to find a better Stay and Park deal at Gatwick than what you’ll find on offer from the Mercure.
Parking at the hotel is onsite (when booked through Gatwick Reservations) although, as with many hotels at Gatwick, the Mercure does reserve the right to utilise a professional, Gatwick based parking company to manage their car park during peak periods and this may involve making use of a secure overflow car park situated onsite at the airport.
The 254 stylish rooms on 5 floors are all air-conditioned with 24-hour room service, satellite TV and pay-per-view movies, internet, voicemail, cooler and ensuite bathroom. Cribs are available for families with children and for business people rooms offer working desks. Some of the more deluxe rooms come with a lounge area. Internet is available in all bedrooms, public areas and meeting rooms.
15 specially equipped rooms and a business centre are on offer for business meetings and conferences and some of the extra services include copying and faxing, messenger, secretarial service and translation facilities. You can get your currency exchanged, newspapers delivered and laundry/dry cleaning done and store your valuables at the front desk. Catering is available for business or social functions and the hotel is licensed for weddings, with a special team of event planners on hand.
Other facilities include wheelchairs for disabled use, vending machines and barbeque area. The Hotel has an Italian bistro, a steakhouse and a bar, between them serving meals and snacks all day.
Gatwick Reservations offer all types of rooms and parking deals. Be sure to check out our very latest, best available rates.
Parking at the Mercure is located on-site at the hotel when you book a room and parking package through Gatwick Reservations. Simply arrive at the hotel, park your car and then take one of the regular shuttle buses to the terminal buildings. On your return just take a shuttle bus back to the hotel, from the terminal at which you arrive, to collect your car. During busy periods however, the hotel may need to move your vehicle to a nearby secure car park on-site at the airport. If it is necessary to move your car it will be managed by a professional, reputable car park management company based at Gatwick Airport. On your return to Gatwick your car would be ready for you to drive away from the hotel.
Do you need more than 15 days parking or perhaps between 8 and 15 days parking? Extra days parking are available and are charged at a daily rate (£10.00). However, it could work out cheaper to book 15 days parking even if you only require e.g. 10 or 11 days in total. Find out how to book extra days parking in the FAQs section.
