Hotel Shuttle Services
- Do all the hotels offer a shuttle to and from the airport?
- All hotels featured on Gatwick Reservations offer a shuttle service to and from the airport terminal buildings. A shuttle is not required if staying at the Sofitel Hotel or the Hilton Hotel as these hotels are connected to the terminals by undercover walkway.
- Do the shuttles run from the airport to the hotels as well as from the hotels to the airport?
- Yes, all shuttle services run to and from both the hotels and the airport.
- Do I have to pay for the shuttle service?
- Some hotels charge others offer a free service. Shuttles tend to cost a maximum of £3 per person each way. Click on the hotel of your choice for more details.
- Are the shuttles reliable?
- Yes, hotel shuttles are reliable and operated by professional companies.
- What if I need to get to the airport and there is no shuttle running?
- All the hotels listed on Gatwick Reservations are within an 8 mile radius of Gatwick Airport so it is easy to get a taxi if necessary for the short journey.
- Where do I pick up the shuttle from the airport?
- Shuttle pick up points are clearly marked throughout the terminal buildings. Just follow the signs.
- I am travelling to Gatwick by train. Can I get a shuttle from the train station to the hotel?
- Yes, the train station is situated at the South Terminal. Follow the signs to the shuttle pick up point after arriving.

- How long will it take to get to Gatwick from my hotel?
- All hotels are within approximately 15 minutes from Gatwick Airport.
- What distance are the hotels from Gatwick?
- The hotels listed on Gatwick Reservations are all within 8 miles of the airport.
Stay and Park
- Do all the hotels offer long term or Stay and Park packages?
- Almost all hotels on Gatwick Reservations offer a discounted Stay and Park package. If a hotel doesn't offer Stay and Park it will be made clear on this website.
- Is my car secure at the hotel for a long period of time?
- The hotels featured on Gatwick Reservations offer secure airport parking. Please note, as with all car parks, cars are left at the owner's risk.
- Are cars always kept on-site at the hotel?
- Car parking is on-site at the hotel when a room and parking package is booked through Gatwick Reservations. Some hotels reserve the right to request that guests take their cars to an overflow car park during peak periods. If this is the case it will be made clear on the hotel's description page. In the case of the Hilton, parking is located on-site at the South Terminal NCP long term car park (free shuttles run every 5 minutes, 24 hours a day between the secure car park and the South Terminal. The Hilton is connected to the South Terminal via an undercover walkway).
- What if I need more than 15 days parking, or between 8 and 15 days?
- If you require more than 15 days parking select 15 days and then enter the number of additional days parking you require later on in the booking process. The same applies for more than 8 days parking. It's worth noting that it may be more economical to book 15 days parking even if you require e.g. 10 or 11 days.
Overnight Parking
- Do the hotels at Gatwick offer overnight parking?
- Yes, all of the hotels offer overnight parking. Some hotels offer complimentary overnight parking others charge an overnight rate.
Family Rooms / Staying with Infants / Extra Beds
- Do any of the hotels offer family rooms that can accommodate more than two adults and two children?
- A standard family room will accommodate 2 adults and 2 children or 2 adults and 3 children. Some hotels offer family rooms that can accommodate 2 adults and up to 5 children. Please visit the hotel description pages for more information.
- We are travelling with one infant, what type of room should we book?
- If you are travelling with an infant under 2 years of age, book a Double or Twin room for two occupants and mention in the comments form at the end of the booking process that you require a cot. Cots are provided free of charge. If you are travelling with one child aged 12 years or under you should select a Double or Twin room plus extra bed.
- We require a double room and extra bed for our child who's over 12 years old, is this okay?
- Unfortunately not. Due to health and safety regulations hotels can only provide an extra bed for children aged 12 years and under. You need to book a triple room for your stay.
Breakfast Information
- Is breakfast included in the room price?
- Most of the time no. If it is, it will be clearly stated.
- Is breakfast available at Gatwick Airport?
- Yes, Gatwick Airport offers an excellent choice of restaurants and cafes. Breakfast will often be considerably cheaper at the airport than in the hotel.
- What time is breakfast available from at Gatwick Airport?
- Most restaurants at Gatwick open at 6.00am.
Cancellations and Amendments
- How can I cancel my reservation?
- Simply email res.support@gatwickreservations.com and be sure to include your Booking ID Number.
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your check in date.
- Cancellations at the Skylane Hotel and the Worth Hotel require 48 hours cancellation notice.
- Cancellations at the Felbridge Hotel require 7 days cancellation notice. This means that reservations made at the Felbridge Hotel within 7 days of the check in date cannot be cancelled.
- Is there a cancellation fee?
- Cancellations do not incur a charge if the reservation was made after 17 June 2010.
- Cancellations for reservations made before 17 June 2010 incur a standard £10 cancellation fee.
- If, at the time of making the reservation, a £10 part prepayment ⁄ deposit was required to secure the room this will be non refundable in the event of a cancellation. However, if you would like to amend your booking to a hotel that does not require a part prepayment ⁄ deposit the £10 charge will be refunded.
- Is there an amendment fee?
- No, amendments including date changes and hotel changes can be made free of charge.
- What if I fail to cancel my reservation in time?
- The credit or debit card used at the time of making the booking will be charged the total amount of the package(s) booked as a "No Show" or "Non Arrival".
Payment Details & Personal Information
- Do you charge a credit card fee?
- No.
- Do I need to pay the hotel using the same card used at the time of making the booking?
- No. The credit or debit card used at the time of the booking will be used by the hotel to guarantee the reservation. However, if you have booked a room or room & parking package that requires a deposit, the deposit will be charged to the card used.
- I am arriving late. Will my room be held for me?
- Yes, your credit or debit card will guarantee your room is held for late arrival.
- Is my personal information secure?
- Yes, your personal information is secure and will only be used for the purposes of processing your reservation.
